Becoming a Watershed Champion

Watershed Champions: Information and Resources

Hannah Blakely, class of 2027 and an Environmental, Soil and Water Sciences major, participated in the Common Waters program this semester and produced an informational document on becoming a Watershed Champion. This project was in partnership with Guardians of the West Fork and provides information on how individuals living in the West Fork Watershed can take action in their yards, gardens, and land to improve water quality. By participating in the Watershed Champions program, individuals will better understand the relationship between their property and local waterways, as well as learn various methods to minimize stormwater runoff and pollution leaving their property. Through this document, Hannah is helping people within the West Fork Watershed take initiative and protect their water resources!
