Kara Meadows, an Environmental, Soil and Water Sciences major, partnered with the Washington County Watershed Alliance to help develop next-generation creek crossing signs. This project focused on creating StoryMaps with information about Catfish Creek, complete with drone video, photos, and maps. These StoryMaps will be accessible via QR codes, which will be included on the creek crossing signs that will be installed along Catfish Creek. These signs will provide indigenous history, commercial history, geographical/geological context, and environmental degradation and restoration information regarding Catfish Creek to the community.
