Kelly Grant, Wildlife and Fisheries major, partnered with Murrysville Area Watershed Association to create a StoryMap highlighting the future impacts of the planned White Valley Treatment System. Turtle Creek, historically affected by Acid Mine Drainage (AMD), will be treated by a system through a $2,106,658 grant that was awarded by Department of Environmental Protection-Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation (DEP-BAMR). In the StoryMap, Kelly highlights the goals for the treatment site and the implications it will have on Turtle Creek.
